The best way to land in this Cinque Terre National Park is by Boat or rail, as this place has great scenic view to catch through pedestrian space. Trains come from La Spezia, which are serviced by long-route.
Best Time to Visit?
Summer Season is best time to drop a visit. Villages at this peak period are flooded with number of tourist, often the National Park is implemented with limit on number of visitors. June to August is high time to experience crowd, visiting off-season is always relaxing.

The Cinque Terre National Park got its recognition in year 1999. The five medieval village along coat of Ligurian gives scenic view with terraced stoned walls, also where Appennino Ligure comes straight to the sea. This first Italian National Park is safeguarded to protect its Cultural Heritage and Marine Park. The significance of place not lies in pristine environment negated by man, but rather a balance or interplay of both (environment and man).
Flora & Fauna
The Mediterranean climate invites huge variety of landscape from Aleppo Pine, Corks, Pine and Chestnut. Coastal and Rocky location produces numerous species like Sea Cineraria and Samphire. Flora can be noticed on great scale varying from thyme, Rosemary, Lavender and helichrysum. Due to Favourable climate animal species are also found in quite good variety. To state about bird species it includes raven, gull and Pregrine Falcon. Wild Boar, Mole, Weasel, Dormouse, Marten and many other can be found.
