Galle Face Green A Tourist Place In Sri Lanka
The Galle Face Green is an ocean side urban park spread on 5-hectares of land. It is spread on half kilometre and located in the heart of the business and financial district of Colombo. The path of Galle Face was initially short in the year 1856 by Governor Henry George Ward, which was then extended over a larger area. Today, it is used for horse racing and golf course. It is a ribbon strip between Galle Road and Indian Ocean, also the largest open space in Colombo. It has become a popular tourist destination for children’s, merrymakers, and so.
