- Cooling Tower- Old Power Station: Belgium
The Cooling tower is an old power Station in Belgium, Monceau. The structure is like magnificent trumpet, it has hot water in middle of structure followed with cooling effect which drips down the structure to hundreds of small concrete slats and troughs. It was originally built in 1921, after protest from Greenpeace in the year 2006; it was closed down in year 2007. The structure remained closed and abandoned.
- The Sunken Yacht: Antarctica
From 2012 for about a year, the Brazilian research vessel got stuck under freezing shallow water of Maxwell bay, Antarctica. The 76-feet boat, got sunk and struck while carrying a crew of 4-researcher filming a documentary.
- Domino Sugar Factory- New York: Brooklyn
The Domino Sugar Factory in New York was initially a refinery of the American Sugar Refining Company which produced Domino Sugar- Brand. The factory dated from 1882, and was known as largest refinery around the world. In year 2000, it faced longest labor strike and was eventually shut down by year 2004, after 148-years of working.
- Maunsell Sea Fort: England
The fort was erected long back and was supposedly considered as protection tower against German air or naval raids during World War II. After the year 1950 it was decommissioned, and the fort becomes inhabited by radio pirates which then was claimed as independent sovereign state.
- Last House- Holland Island: USA
Long back the house was a part of a flourishing island colony in Chesapeake Bay, US. Due to fast and frequent erosion the mud of island led to decrease. The house then remained isolated for several years, and gradually was collapsed in the year 2010.
- Pripyat: Ukraine
The city Pripyatin of Ukraine, situated close to the border as a Soviet nuclear city. The place was a residential area for several workers who worked in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Then in year 1986, the nuclear plant faced few issues and disaster and was evacuated. The place then remained as a Ghost radioactive city.
- Kolmanskop: Namibia
The place Kolmanskop was a small place in Nambia, which grew and flourished suddenly in 1900’s by German settlers. The place was then considered as a booming with diamonds, due to craze of wealth the place was depleted. Then by 1950, the place was deserted and visited by tourist & photographers.
- House of Communist Party: Bulgaria
The House of Bulgarian Communist Party was shaped as a flying saucer, and was considered as architecture marvel from 1981 to 1991. The place then was silently deserted after fall of the Soviet Union. The place is now considered as haunted, and put people in trance who visit!
- Nara Dreamland Park: Japan
The Dreamland Park was opened in the year 1961; the project was an inspiration by Disneyland. The entrance was quite similar to Disneyland, and had its own version of Castle of Sleeping Beauty and so. Then in year 2006, the place was closed down due to lower number of visitors. Today the place is considered as one of the abandoned places.
- Uninhabited Island in Southwest Florida: USA
The structure was build in the year 1981; on Cape Romano, Florida. The place was the summer house of oil producer Bob Lee before getting into disrepair.
- New Bedford Orpheum: USA
The New Bedford Orpheum is an old theater situated in Massachusetts, USA. The theater was opened in the year 1921, which was then closed in the year 1959. The place was used for storage and serving for tobacco and supermarket after its closure.
